Telephone and Online

The great thing about one-to-one online and telephone counselling is that you can be in an environment that you’re comfortable in.

​

The work required in telephone/online therapy is very different from simply meeting someone. It focuses on the quality of conversation and engagement in the session as well as the changes implemented outside of that time.

​

From my experience of working on various platforms to deliver counselling; one of the most effective forms of therapy and life coaching has been via telephone.

​

This may be for a number of reasons:

​

  • No distractions (as both client and counsellor ensure they are in an environment where they will not be disturbed);

  • The work is dependent solely on what’s discussed in session so that time is used effectively; 

  • The sense of anonymity can also help some to feel more open.
